With Love Takes Off, SKE offers a poetic and urban work, in a limited edition of only 10 copies, in A2 format.
This creation directly evokes the imagery of Banksy's iconic Balloon Girl, while diverting it into a broader and more spectacular reading. Here, the simple red balloon becomes a swarm of inflated hearts, almost excessive, almost uncontrollable. Love no longer floats softly: it lifts, overflows, torn from the ground.
At the center of the composition, a small black-and-white silhouette seems trapped in a cage carried by these red balloons. The contrast is strong: the fragility of childhood against the power of dreams, confinement versus the desire to escape, the cage versus the impulse of the heart.
SKE adopts the codes of street art, stenciling, drips, and urban poetry to create an image that is immediately legible, yet filled with symbols. The heart-shaped balloons become both a promise, an escape, a force of liberation. A work about love, hope, and that facet of innocence that always seeks to rise above reality.
A bold and highly decorative piece, ideal for collectors sensitive to the world of contemporary street art, to Banksy references, to visual poetry, to the red balloon, to childhood, to love, and to works with strong emotional charge.

- ARTIST BIO:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and all-around creator who grew up in the 80s/90s culture, inspiring a large portion of his artistic work.
He continually explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stenciling, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double meanings, blend the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.
After an exceptional 2025, SKE's market value has seen a notable rise. Winner of the first prize in the Urban Master contest (2023), then elected Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025). SKE has been selected as "Artist of the Month" by the Opulence gallery in October, and has also benefited from a feature in an American art magazine, confirming his international recognition.
His works have already been exhibited in major venues across Europe, the United States, and Asia, strengthening his place on the contemporary art scene. In parallel, SKE also asserts himself in the digital art market, a major trend of the last two years, reinforcing the appeal of his creations to collectors.
Icons of popular culture, bold graphics, and texture plays characterize a now-essential style.
SKE is undoubtedly an artist to follow, to initiate or enrich a collection with rising value.
Awarded Artist – Pop Art & Contemporary Street Art
AN UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE's work is part of a prestigious lineage. His line combines the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while incorporating the subversion of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to divert the Mona Lisa by Vinci, The Girl with a Pearl Earring by Vermeer, The Great Wave off Kanagawa by Hokusai, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to bring them into a modern urban aesthetic akin to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.
POP CULTURE & NOSTALGIA Drawing on the collective imagination, SKE manipulates icons of our childhood. He stages the Disney universe with figures like Mickey or Pinocchio, and Scrooge McDuck’s symbolic greed. The influence of gaming, comics, and graphic novels is omnipresent: from the Nintendo world and the legendary Game Boy, to Pokemon creatures (Pikachu, Charizard, Ash), and the Marvel superheroes. SKE crystallizes these memories in the manner of Daniel Arsham or Takashi Murakami.
LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with the codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits alongside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the "Hype" aesthetic: sneaker culture (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass-consumption icons like Coca-Cola. It is a vibrant art with rich textures, sometimes evoking the glossy finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of Richard Orlinski.
This work is ideal for enriching a collection or adding a dynamic touch to your interior.
