On a deep blue background lies a dense pattern of golden leaves, impressed one by one in pale gold and ivory, with flashes of warm orange. The light gathers mostly in the upper and central part, where the foliage thickens into a luminous mass. Toward the bottom the blue becomes deeper and absorbs the shapes, allowing thin green stems to rise from the darkness to emerge. The veins remain visible beneath the gilding, tiny and precise like traces of a pressed plant. It is the moment when ordinary vegetation lights up and becomes gold.
