Parfen.D XL - "Red Poppies on Teal"

A deep turquoise occupies the entire surface, built from thousands of dense dots that lighten toward the top and sink almost into the black at the bottom. There is no horizon, no sky: only a continuous vibration, more akin to water than to earth. In the center, the poppies unfold in a full red, some charged to the paste, others merely hinted like seeds scattered by the wind. Among them run white and yellow dots, tiny, that light up the background. The flowering field, once observed from a certain distance with daylight on it, here loses all measure: only the pulsation of the complementary color remains, the red burning against the green, and the feeling of looking at something very close or very far, without knowing which of the two.
