Art Nouveau crystal vase from circa 1900–1910, cylindrical-oval shape with a flared neck, 20 cm high, 9 cm wide, 20 cm deep, weighing 902 g, made in Germany in the Karlsbad Bohemia region, with wheel-engraved stems and flowers, in excellent condition with only very minor signs of wear, and bearing a silver-embossed Val Saint Lambert label used between 1900 and 1930 (likely affixed later).
Description from the seller
Very beautiful Art Nouveau vase from the early years of the 20th century.
The oval cylindrical shape and the flared neck, very much admired, indicate to us that the piece is a creation from the Bohemia region.
The decoration of stems and flowers finely wheel-engraved are characteristic of the productions of Moser and Sons crystal works.
The density of the crystal gives it excellent stability.
Its splendid clarity seems to have ignored the years.
A silver-embossed label from Cristalleries du Val Saint Lambert, used between 1900 and 1930, is affixed to the back of the vase; nevertheless it must have been affixed late by one of its owners by mistake.
