About the artist:
Robbie McIntosh is an Italian photographer based in Naples. He picked up photography in his teens and has never looked back, as he puts it. His credo: "enjoy life and take it as it comes." He especially loves photographing Sunday bathers on Naples’ beaches, "celebrating the human body." But a raw body: at his studio, no sculpted or model-perfect bodies, only the bodies of ordinary people, with their wrinkles or extra pounds. His style recalls Martin Parr. Highly followed on Instagram, he has won several awards for his photography: in 2023, he won the Fokus Awards in the main category around the theme of the competition "things change" and received an honorable mention at the Corigliano Calabro Photography Festival 2023.
