Studio MMC - Lumina 001

The LUMINA series of works explores the interplay of light, color, and atmosphere. The pieces are created on unprimed cotton canvas, whose natural surface becomes part of the composition and lends the images an honest, unfiltered presence. The color is poured, poured, and splashed directly onto the canvas without brushes or other tools — an intuitive, free painting process that gives each work its unmistakable dynamism. Multiple layers of glazes and subtle textures create image spaces of extraordinary depth and radiance. Between color-field painting and lyrical abstraction, the works emerge as containers of quiet presence that continually change with the light and the viewer’s perception. Each piece invites you to not only see color but to experience it.
