Jean-Pierre Cinquilli (1943-) - Vase - Glass

A good size modernist glass vase, measuring circa 23,8cm in height and weighing 1078g, chocolate swirl on pistache ground, shaped with a round upper section on square lower half, signed to the underside Cinquilli.

Jean Pierre Cinquilli, born in 1943, began working as a glassblower on the French Riviera in 1963, where he remained for 24 years. In 1988, as a master glassblower, he decided to start his own glassblowing studio where he could create his own studio glass. He settled in a former sheep enclosure in Saint Paul de Vence, a village known worldwide and visited by many collectors, artists, actors, poets, and painters. His work is collected all over the world and sold in galleries in New York, London, Milan, Brussels, Liechtenstein, Amsterdam, and Paris.

Condition: Excellent, no damages or repairs. Minimal wear.
