About the artist...
Quiona Ribes is a urban artist born in Spain in 1987. It was in Valencia where her interest in street art was born and she carries out pictorial experiments inspired by street art and painters from the late 20th century. This is how she begins to develop her own style.
Subsequently she moves to Barcelona to continue her architecture studies, but a year later she decides to put aside the architect profession and thus study Applied Arts to the Wall and later earn a degree in Art History.
Her work, initially impressionist, now offers a singular and attractive vision where she tends to use a poetic language related to current affairs, art history and graffiti. She is known for her works created with the urban stencil technique and began to draw inspiration from artists in the scene such as Banksy, Martin Whatson, Keith Haring, Pichiavo, Okuda, Mr.Brainwash, Vhils and others as well as classics like Leonardo Da Vinci, El Greco or Velázquez.
