Horst P. Horst (1906–1999) was one of the most influential fashion photographers of the 20th century. Born in Germany, he moved to Paris in the early 1930s, where he initially worked with photographer George Hoyningen-Huene and later for French Vogue. Renowned for his masterful lighting, classical composition, and timeless elegance, Horst photographed prominent figures from fashion, art, and society, including Coco Chanel, Marlene Dietrich, and Salvador Dalí. His works are now in the collections of major museums worldwide, including the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and the J. Paul Getty Museum in Los Angeles.
