Within the lot there are two especially valuable signed pieces:
- Emilio Schuberth (Made in Italy)
made in light, semi-transparent fabric (silk gauze / silk blend) with a subtle mille-raie/striped relief weave (shadow stripe) visible in transparency.
Geometric/Op-Art design from the 1960s/70s. Features abstract shapes and concentric circles with horizontal black lines overlaid on a lively palette of red, fuchsia/magenta, orange and touches of blue. All framed by a double border (an inner beige/honey band and a wide outer black frame). Brand "SCHUBERTH" stamped in uppercase with light contrast on the black edge. Edge sewn finely.
- Roccobarocco
made in refined velvet devoré (velvet burnout) with a veiled transparent base. Shows changing reflections and light effects between the deep black of the velvet and bronze/gold tones of the weave.
Classic decoration with floral motifs and baroque arabesques, rich and elegant. Finished and soft edge. Brand signature "roccobarocco" imprinted in gold tones on the lower part of the fabric.
