Atmospheric Dutch cityscape by the Dutch artist David Schulman (1881–1966). The painting shows a characteristic drawbridge over a waterway with a church tower and historic buildings in the background. The work is executed in Schulman's distinctive impressionist style, with loose brushwork, harmonious color usage and much attention to light and atmosphere.
The painting is oil on panel and is signed lower right. The work has been professionally restored and re-framed, is in good condition and is ready to hang.
