Description from the seller

Original vintage advertising manifesto created to promote the metal roofing “Toit Bien Vu,” marketed by Mines de Fer de France, a leading French steel company.

The graphic composition is a remarkable example of post-war French advertising graphics: a large black geometric volume symbolically represents a metal roof, while a worker in a blue overalls observes the completed work with satisfaction. The minimalist setting, the use of flat colors, and the effective chromatic contrast recall the modernist visual language developed in France in the 1950s.

The manifesto bears the signature on a plate by C.N. Perrot and was printed by Le Triptyque – Paris for Mines de Fer de France, based at 15 bis Rue de Marignan, Paris VIIIe.

Object of particular interest for:
- collectors of French advertising posters;
- 1950s modernist graphic design;
- industrial design and architecture;
- advertising in the construction and steel sectors;
- vintage and contemporary interior design.

The essentiality of the composition and the strong graphic presence make the poster particularly decorative even in modern environments.
