This self-taught artist is accustomed to her "Leitmotiv" made of dreams, careful observation, meditation and spontaneous realizations.

With "Fragments" Krystyna Chwiecko Stankiewicz builds a memory space more than a landscape. The surface, immersed in an intense crimson that fades between purple and burgundy, seems to guard time as a living substance, crossed by traces, glazes and silences.

The red emergences and the glints of gold leaf do not impose themselves as defined images, but as memories that resurface suddenly: precious, incomplete moments, snatched from oblivion. They are fragments of a deep lived experience, emotional shrapnels that do not tell a linear story but evoke the complexity of the human experience.

The work lives on constant ambivalence. On one side, the warmth of color and the light of gold suggest the strength of life, the beauty of encounters, gratitude for what has been. On the other, the dark areas, the fades and interruptions of matter recall inevitable loss, nostalgia and that pathos that accompanies every authentic memory.

Gold takes on symbolic value: not mere ornament, but what time cannot consume. It is the luminous trace left by loved ones, by emotions and experiences that continue to shine even when memory becomes indistinct.

Fragments invites the observer to complete the work with their own story. Each sees in it something of themselves: a distant joy, a healed wound, a face, a place, or a moment that continues to live in memory. It is a painting that does not describe the past, but returns its emotional vibration, transforming the personal into universal.

In this suspended moment between joy and melancholy, presence and absence, Krystyna Chwiecko Stankiewicz creates an intensely introspective work, able to remind us that we are, after all, the precious sum of our fragments.

"My professional training as a Make up artist has led me to become familiar with brushes and colors. Particularly working as makeup artist for "Wedding scene" and in Camouflage. My paintings often originate from meditation and careful observation of the surrounding world.
I have participated in Dantebus contests, receiving enthusiastic feedback from judges and recently the invitation to participate in an exhibition on Via Margutta in Rome. Some of my works are already present in homes or galleries in France, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Germany and other European countries and non-EU as well.

and in excellent condition the canvas, after the sale, will be carefully dismantled, rolled then shipped and insured with tracking, in a sturdy cardboard container.
