Nicola Carrino (Taranto, 1932 – Rome, 2018) was an Italian sculptor and painter, among the leading protagonists of abstract art and contemporary sculpture of the 20th century. After early ventures in painting, he was one of the founders of Group 1, a movement promoting artistic research based on geometric forms, rationality and industrial materials.
