1. Selected Pieces by Buffon
Second edition with illustrations.
Paris, at Antoine-Augustin Renouard.
1809.
Contemporary full leather binding with gilded spine.
Approximately 352 pages.
Numerous engravings in the text.
Pocket format.
The work shows normal signs of ancient age:
binding worn with leather losses,
dust-jackets damaged,
significant rubbing,
foxing and scattered stains,
paper remains clearly readable,
interior complete.
