Pair of monumental Neo-Rococo paintings – H. D'Espinoza – Oil on Canvas (120x60 cm) with protective glass and imposing frames (146x85 cm).
Extraordinary pendant pair of oil-on-canvas paintings of imposing dimensions, created by the artist Héctor D'Espinoza and datable roughly between the 1970s and 1980s of the 20th century.
The works depict two lively and refined genre scenes in perfect Neo-Rococo/18th-century taste:
1. Salon and Reading Scene: Gentlemen and ladies in elegant period attire engaged in listening and genteel conversation (signature H. D'Espinoza at the bottom right).
2. The Chamber Concert: A musical-themed scene with a lady at the fortepiano, a violinist at the center, and elegant period spectators (signature H. Espinosa at the bottom left).
