Concrete Still Life with Flower proposes a dialogue between nature and geometry through a composition where the organic and the built coexist in balance. Between 2003 and 2005 he taught drawing workshops at the Manuel Ascunce Domenech Art Instructor School, and between 2006 and 2009 he worked as a costume and set designer for the Provincial Council of the Performing Arts of Santa Clara, an experience that decisively influenced his spatial and formal conception within the visual arts.
His work has been presented in various solo exhibitions in Cuba, highlighting shows at the Provincial Art Gallery and in institutional spaces of Santa Clara. He has also participated in important group exhibitions and international fairs, among them Art Basel Miami, group exhibitions in France and contemporary art events in the Americas and Europe. In 2017 he participated in art fairs in Mexico. His trajectory is complemented by studies and international workshops related to scenic design and visual creation, consolidating a multidisciplinary artistic profile that dialogues between painting, space and the contemporary symbolic experience.
