Acrylic painting on shredded paper on canvas
Framed; ready to hang
I create paintings using acrylic colors and thousands of small pieces of recycled paper: everyday paper becomes art instead of ending up in the trash.
In my latest works I have focused on the theme of women treated as objects (dolls) and too often victims of violence, and these are the latest pieces I have created.
On these scraps of paper you can read words and phrases scattered here and there. Often it happens when we really approach another person: sometimes we perceive their secret messages, sometimes not.
The work is sold framed and ready to hang thanks to the hook on the back.
The surface features small reliefs and I love caressing it, feeling it...
I also use acrylic resin on the surface, which gives a glossy effect and protects the colors from sunlight and dust.

This work represents passion and inner strength through the intensive use of color and the impressionist technique. I have combined acrylic painting with elements of collage to create an image that is striking, rich in energy and movement. My intention is to convey a sense of freedom and uniqueness, urging the viewer to reflect on their own identity and not be defined by others.
This canvas will bring dynamism and expressiveness, infusing inspiration and character into any space.

Each piece is securely packaged, wrapped and protected for shipping and will arrive in a completely safe package, including the Certificat of Authenticity.
I use DHL/UPS courier: shipping within Europe arrives in 24/48 hours; international shipping arrives in 48/72 hours. Some days of delay may be caused by customs clearance at borders.
Shipping takes about 7 days; about 10 days for non-EU countries.
A tracking number is provided.
Different light sources can give different colors to photos.
Sizes may vary slightly as I personally prepare the wooden frame, stretch the canvas and fix it to the frame.

Thank you.

Born in 1974 I am self-taught.
After an initial period dedicated to sculpture there was a long pause lasting almost twenty years. Since December 2014 I resumed with the "two dimensions" for lack of time and space, leaving sculpture aside and dedicating myself to acrylic paintings.
I love painting abstract landscapes but recently I have been pushing myself to paint faces of people, both imaginary and real.
For me painting is 'locking the time' in that exact moment; a painting of mine is often a faded memory and therefore my works are 'worn, eroded by time'. Sometimes the subjects of my paintings are street corners of walls also eroded by time, with moss and mushrooms that—in time—grow on the surface.
Time passing inexorably is the main theme of my works.
Coming from a wonderful experience with clay manipulation, I love sculpture, the third dimension, the sense of touch and my paintings are often characterized by reliefs clearly perceivable by touch and by sight.
Recently, after several years during which my works were made from scraps of recycled paper forming figures, I am pushing myself to explore Optical Art where I use painted wooden discs arranged in lines and grids repeated with mathematical rigor which, when viewed up close, seem to form an abstract, colorful painting but as you move away a portrait of the many discs of painted wood emerges.
Violence against women is a theme that characterizes almost all of my works when I reproduce female faces, precisely to give them a voice when they do not have the strength or courage to report that they are not their partner's dolls and cannot be mistreated or, worse, victims of violence.
