Description from the seller

Offered is an authentic and handy Đàn Tranh, a traditional Vietnamese arched zither/board zither. At a length of 75 cm, this is a fine, more compact model that is easier to transport or store than the larger versions.
The instrument has 16 strings and is made of light tonewood with a rich, dark edge finish. The soundbox and side panels are handcrafted with refined mother-of-pearl inlay (khảm xà cừ), in which traditional Vietnamese village scenes and symbols of luck are depicted. On the inside there is the original maker’s label from Shop Ngọc Bích (105 Nguyễn Du - Quận 1, Ho Chi Minh City).

Includes:
Original black hard-shell protective case with red plush interior lining
Spare set of strings (in packaging)

The instrument is in neat, used condition with light signs of wear:
Instrument: The woodwork and mother-of-pearl are very well preserved. Of one of the movable wooden bridges (nhạn), at the top side one of the two guide arms is damaged. The string still sits here quite well and remains stable in place.
Case: Closes well and provides excellent protection. Of the three case latches, the outermost latch mechanism is missing; the middle and the other outer latch work properly.
Accessories: Supplied without a tuning key or plectrums.
