The work is written in an elegant Maghrebi or Near Eastern script, carefully laid out within ink-drawn frames.
The old brown leather binding, stamped and gilded, features a geometric and floral Islamic-inspired decoration.
The text is hand-written in black ink, some words or passages highlighted in red according to the traditional practice of religious and literary manuscripts of the Muslim world. Beautiful exemplar bearing witness to the Arabic manuscript tradition of the 19th century, preserving its authentic character despite signs of use, foxing, moisture stains and some wear to the margins and binding consistent with its age. floating booklet
