Aubusson tapestry “The Old Manor,” woven by the Jean Laurent Manufactures, Master Loom Operative in Aubusson, for the Ateliers Tapisseries d’Art (Le Pin-au-Haras, France).
Verdure based on a pattern drawing from the 18th century: a wooded landscape animated by a bird, with a manor with a red roof in the background, surrounded by a floral border on a brown background and a navy blue trim.
Artist’s Proof (Épreuve d’Artiste) of a limited edition of 8 copies, accompanied by its signed certificate of authenticity, dated 14/06/1982 (registration no. 281/8504).
