### Description
This lot features "Miscellaneous Papers Regarding Japanese Plants (1780–1826)" by Carl Peter Thunberg (C. P. Thunberg), published in Tokyo in 1935 by Shokubutsu-Bunken-Kankōkai (Botany Literature Publishing Society).
According to the colophon, this edition was published in 1935 in a strictly limited run of only 500 copies and issued for private distribution ("Not for Sale").
Carl Peter Thunberg (1743–1828), a student of Carl Linnaeus often referred to as the "Father of Japanese Botany," made monumental contributions to Western understanding of Japanese flora during his stay in Dejima, Nagasaki. This valuable 1935 facsimile edition compiles his original Latin botanical papers, dissertations, and essays on Japanese plants originally published between 1780 and 1826, complete with detailed engraved plant illustrations and plates.

Vintage/Antique condition consistent with age and reference use.
* Binding: Hardcover binding with light shelf wear, minor rubbing along the edges, and slight age-toning on the spine/covers.
* Interior: 542 pages. Pages remain clean with light age-toning and faint foxing.
