These items have always been kept in my great-great-grandmother's bed (Laren, NH).

Antique/Vintage Copper Coal Scuttle with Brass Lion Head Helmet Pot or Fireplace Decoration
This is a vintage copper coal scuttle (also called a coal hod), often in the shape of a firefighter's helmet, from the late 19th or early 20th century.
Such items were traditionally used at the fireplace and feature decorative details such as a brass lion head.
Style & Design: The scuttle has a so-called 'helmet model' and is made of copper with a brass handle and hinges shaped like a lion's head.
Patina: The piece shows a characteristic blue-green oxidation layer (copper patina) and spots. This is typical of old copper and is often considered decorative.
Use & Decoration: Although it originally served to store coal or turf by the hearth, it is nowadays often used as a stylish decorative piece, a planter, or for storing firewood blocks

This is an antique copper dish from the early 20th century, often used as a serving dish or decorative flowerpot.
The dish sits on a copper pedestal and has decorative handles, which are made of porcelain.
Comparable items are described as "hammered copper bowls" or "French copper pans"

This is a Dutch vintage flower pot from the 1950s, with a copper body and a brass base.
The pot features two handles decorated with Delft blue porcelain.
Such pots are often used as cachepots (ornamental pots) and are popular in interiors with a rustic or classical style
