Beatrice Tatavitto was born in Wolfsburg, Germany, and later moved with her family to Italy. Beatrice's art arises from a continual exploration of the self and the world, suspended between discipline and instinct. Her research has roots in border experiences: living among different cultures, childhood permeated by freedom and curiosity, the awareness that every transformation brings with it a new way of seeing. Her canvases, mainly made with acrylics in bright and contrasting tones, arise from an intuitive process of action and reaction: a dynamic flow in which the painting material becomes an inner narrative. Tatavitto conceives every work as a page of an emotional diary, where memory translates into color and painting becomes an act of awareness."
