The works are shipped from the artist based in the United States to our logistics platform in France, which handles import and customs clearance, before sending them individually back to our collectors without any constraints. The transport cost includes all fees from the United States to your home.

Karl Lagasse, a renowned artist, gained prominence in 2009 with his One Dollar sculptures, ranking among the ten best sculptors under 30 years old according to Artprice that same year. In 2012, the New York publication Farameh named him one of the fifty best contemporary artists, inspired by traditional American icons, in its book FOR WHICH IT STANDS: Americana in Contemporary Art. More recently, in 2016, at the Art Paris Art Fair, the President of the French Republic warmly congratulated Karl for his impressive 2-meter bronze sculpture One Dollar, exhibited at the Grand Palais.

Karl's artistic journey began at age 7 with collages, spurred by his meeting with sculptor César Baldaccini. He then turned to tagging and graffiti in the Paris metro while remaining passionate about collages. Artist Yvaral Vasarely encouraged him to merge his tags with his collages. In 2003, Karl prepared his first exhibition in Paris, which led to his first solo show in 2006 at the Isy Brachot gallery in Brussels. In 2008, he returned to Paris with an exhibition combining paintings, sculptures, and video elements at the Espace Pierre Cardin.

Karl particularly enjoys unveiling his works at international exhibitions. In 2011, he was represented by the Bel Air Fine Art gallery at the Art Monaco fair with his Cryptogram One creation. The following year, he presented his One Dollar works on the theme "In God We Trust" at the Artco France gallery. His 2016 solo show at the Atrium gallery in Marbella, Spain, was inaugurated by the mayor, who praised his works in front of the international press.

2026: - Completion of One Dollar Green Bronze 8 meters, 7 tons. The largest One Dollar sculpture in the world created by the artist.
2025: - Installation of the monumental Reflection of the Sun. Placed near the newly built Bath Pavilion, on the Promenade Michel d'Ornano, inaugurated by Mayor Philippe Augier on September 8.

2024: - Art Miami - Group exhibitions Galerie Nicolas Auvray New York. For the occasion, a bronze cryptogram of 1.80m and a 2-meter One Dollar were exhibited during the event.
- 50th anniversary of the Deauville American Film Festival; for the occasion, the artist created 18 bronze trophies as well as a 2-meter sculpture to be installed at the CID. Artists interviewed about the artist and who received the trophy include: Michael Douglas, Daisy Ridley, Natalie Portman, Michelle Williams, Mikey Madison...

2023: - Aspen Saint Regis: Installation of the 2-meter One Dollar in front of the St. Regis. The Aspen Times covered the event in a dedicated article.
- Rapper Rick Ross posed with a special St. Regis edition One Dollar.

2022: - New York: Times Square NY City, projection on Nasdaq screen of the work "A One Dollar in the Cyberspace City".

2017: - Karl Lagasse succeeds the prestigious Cartier House in creating the Deauville American Film Festival trophies.

2016: - Art Fair Paris at the Grand Palais
- A two-meter tall, fully bronze "One Dollar" was exhibited at the Art Paris fair.
- The French president visited the exhibition and personally congratulated the artist for his work.
- First in Spain at the Atrium gallery in Marbella, solo exhibition with new collections in the presence of international press and the mayor of the city, Jose Bernal Gutierrez. A special performance by his wife, opera singer Cherise Lagasse, who performed pieces from her repertoire.

2015: - Second collaboration with Maserati with the creation of a monumental installation titled "A Piece of Heaven on Earth". This work comprises a Maserati covered with a white plastic film and a sculpture of Jesus Christ. Around the car, several sculptures representing one-dollar bills are laid on the ground, symbolizing the repayment of humanity’s largest debt.

2014: - Maserati presents in world premiere the Maserati Ghibli redesigned by artist Karl Lagasse to mark the brand’s 100th anniversary.

2012: - Karl gifted the city of Deauville a bronze Crytogram One sculpture, which remains permanently at the city entrance.
- For the 65th Cannes Film Festival anniversary, Karl created a sculpture “Building” composed of a collage of photos tracing the festival’s history.
