Wall sconce - Wrought iron

Beautiful vintage five-light wall sconce, made in the mid-20th century, 1960s/70s, in Baroque / Louis XV style with rich decoration featuring foliate motifs and scrolls.
The central body features an elaborate nature-inspired design, typical of artistic craftsmanship of the 20th century (Florentine or French style). The details reproduce finely worked acanthus leaves that extend upward and to the sides.
It is made of metal (probably stamped sheet metal) with an all-gold leaf finish, showing a beautiful patina of age.
It has 6 light points with candle-shaped lamp holders (faux candles), designed for small-base bulbs.
The height is about 86 cm, width about 60 cm, weight over 3 kg.
Good condition with normal signs of time and use.
