Mru.gru (Julia Słomińska, born 1972 in Szczecin, Poland) is a contemporary artist whose work is rooted in the tradition of the 20th century. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.

The artist’s works are characterized by a personal approach to the heritage of the great masters, attention to detail and meaning. A distinctive feature of her creative output is keen observation of the world, events, and contexts. The author does not close off the reality depicted in the paintings, ensuring that the viewer fills in their own story.
