Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
A handcrafted yellow-gold plated 925 sterling silver ring with a central round peridot (~0.85 ct) and 104 natural round diamonds (~0.78 ct) surrounding it, for a total gemstone weight of about 1.63 ct, size EU 56 (US 7.5), made in Italy and described as new with no laboratory report.
Description from the seller
PERNA LABORATORIO ORAFO — HANDCRAFTED YELLOW-GOLD-PLATED 925 STERLING SILVER RING WITH PERIDOT AND 104 DIAMONDS
An expressive sculptural ring, entirely handcrafted by Perna Laboratorio Orafo in Torre del Greco, Naples, Italy.
The jewel features an elaborate three-dimensional composition of flowing, asymmetrical curves that sweep gracefully around the central gemstone. Polished surfaces alternate with multiple diamond-set sections, creating depth, movement and a distinctive spiral-inspired architecture.
At the centre is a round faceted peridot measuring approximately 6 mm in diameter. Its characteristic yellow-green to olive-green colour displays natural variations in tone and brightness across the facets. The gemstone is secured within a traditional prong setting and integrated into the ring’s sculptural structure.
Based on its stated diameter and standard dimensional conversion tables for faceted peridot, its estimated weight is approximately 0.85 carat.
The surrounding composition is set with 104 round diamonds, each measuring approximately 1.2 mm in diameter. The stones follow the ring’s sweeping curves, creating an extensive pavé-style arrangement while preserving the design’s intentionally asymmetrical character.
Using a prudent professional dimensional conversion of approximately 0.0075 carat for each 1.2 mm round diamond, their estimated combined weight is approximately 0.78 carat.
The total estimated gemstone weight is therefore approximately 1.63 carats.
The mounting is crafted from 925 sterling silver with a yellow-gold plating. The ring has a fully closed and continuous shank. The “925” hallmark is clearly visible in the dedicated macro photograph and forms an integral part of the photographic documentation.
The handcrafted nature of the jewel can be appreciated in its complex construction, individual stone settings and subtle variations in finishing. These characteristics are consistent with artisanal production and should not be interpreted as manufacturing defects.

CONDITION AND CRAFTSMANSHIP

The natural individuality of the settings, finishes and sculptural sections is part of the ring’s artisanal character.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
All carat weights stated in this description are professional dimensional estimates calculated from the declared number, diameter, shape and standard cutting proportions of the gemstones.
Actual weights may vary according to the depth, girdle thickness and individual proportions of each stone. Exact carat weights could only be established by removing and weighing the gemstones separately.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, no independent gemological laboratory report accompanies the ring. No additional claims are made regarding diamond colour, clarity or origin, or regarding the geographical origin or possible treatment of the peridot.
The item is correctly described as yellow-gold-plated 925 sterling silver and is not represented as solid gold. No claim is made regarding the fineness or thickness of the gold plating.
Gemstone and metal colours may appear slightly different depending on the lighting conditions and the calibration of the viewer’s screen.
