This elegant commemorative mantel clock is produced by WAKO, the iconic luxury department store in Tokyo's Ginza district. It was specially created to mark the 50th anniversary of the Kimura Corporation in 2019 (the first year of the Reiwa era).
Design and Craftsmanship:
The clock features a deep burgundy, piano-finish lacquered wood casing accented with polished gold details, embodying a classic Japanese luxury aesthetic.
The dial is a crisp white, featuring black Roman numeral hour markers and refined hands, all framed by a gold-tone border.
A commemorative gold plaque marking the 50th anniversary is inset on the back, further enhancing its value as a collector's item.
