Rose gialle, a post-impressionist oil on cardboard painting from 1930–1940 by William Victor Aubert, Switzerland, sold with frame.
Description from the seller
William Victor Aubert (1856–1942)
Nasturzi in fiore, circa 1930
Oil on cardboard depicting a lively garden of yellow roses, characterized by a close, decorative composition, where rounded dark green leaves contrast with the flowers in yellow tones. The brushwork is textural and dynamic, typical of the artist's painting sensibility.
Work monogrammed “W.A.” in the lower right and signed and dated on the back “William Aubert,” with handwritten notes relating to the subject.
Technique: oil on cardboard
Dimensions without frame: 30 × 22 cm
Dimensions with frame: 35 × 26 cm
Good overall condition, with slight signs of time and use consistent with the period. Frame included.
The artwork will be packed with the utmost care using professional materials. However, postal shipping, while a cost-effective solution, is not the most suitable method for transporting artworks and cannot guarantee freedom from damage, particularly for works on delicate supports.
On request, it is possible to obtain a quote for transport via professional couriers specialized in art transport.
Shipments, even within the European Union, may involve longer delivery times and the possible application of duties or import costs.
Pick-up in Geneva is always the safest and recommended option.
In case of return (wrong address, non-payment, refusal due to customs duties, etc.), return shipping and re-shipment costs will be borne by the buyer.
Combined shipments available on request.
