Set of two Carrara marble bookends from Volterra, Tuscany, Italy, dating from 1950–1970, in excellent condition with minimal signs of use, each measuring 7 × 6 × 18.2 cm and weighing about 1050 g, with all four red eyes present.

In excellent, pristine condition, a set of Carrara marble bookends, presumably made in Volterra, Tuscany, Italy, in the 1950s–1970s.
The set parts belong together, as evidenced by the production code '21' engraved in the base (see the photos).
The bookends are beautifully intact, without chips, scratches, hairline cracks or breaks, and all four original red eyes are present. One of the supports has a small (easily removable) paint stain, see the photo. Measurements: the base measures 7 x 6 cm, height 18.2 cm, weight per piece 1050 grams.
The two heavy bookends will be carefully packed and shipped with Track and Trace.
