This exquisite Suzuribako (inkstone box) is a fine example of Tsugaru-nuri (Tsugaru lacquerware), a traditional craft from Aomori Prefecture known for its exceptional lacquer techniques.
The exterior is beautifully decorated with the traditional Karanuri pattern. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted by skilled artisans.
