Dante Bellacorte was born in Palermo in 1987. His painting focuses on figurative portrait, reinterpreted through a contemporary sensibility and a strong reference to classical tradition. In his paintings, female faces emerge from dark, silent backgrounds, illuminated by a warm, theatrical light. The painting material, the textures of the skin, and the intensity of the gazes create images suspended between melancholy, grace, and introspection.
