Danilo Carfagno. This work titled "Head of Odysseus" is one of the sculptures that are part of the exhibition "Ellenikos" held by the author in the 2000s with the patronage of the Municipality of Colli al Metauro in the Province of Pesaro-Urbino. Danilo Carfagno boasts annual solo exhibitions and publications in art magazines at the national level. He is the illustrator of the Divine Comedy with 3 paintings of 6 square meters each that he brings to his exhibitions annually. The work "Head of Odysseus" is a head obtained by improvisation on a block of clay weighing 20 kg, with no preliminary drawing. It was dried for 5 months and fired at 980 degrees, then covered with gold leaf and oxidized bronze. It is a unique and original piece. On the side it bears the Greek inscription of Odysseus and the initials CARFO, the artist’s pseudonym.
