A deep navy blue full and rich occupies the entire surface, lighter and more airy at the top, denser and velvety toward the bottom. On this background, a band of poppies lights up: vivid reds, garnet and nearly black, carried by thin stems that descend with lightness. Small coral touches also spread into the more freed zones, like heat points scattered in the blue. The material is worked with minute touches, giving the surface a continuous vibration and an almost aquatic depth. The contrast between red and blue is sharp and immediate, capable of catching the eye. An intense and elegant work, where the bloom emerges from the depth with calm, assured confidence.
