Marcello Mancuso, serie ARMONIA, a limited edition triptych of three digital paintings in abstract style, totaling 45 × 135 cm (each panel 35 × 35 cm on 45 × 45 cm boards), signed, in excellent condition, produced in Italy in 2005.
Description from the seller
Triptych composed of three works measuring 35x35 cm on cardboard 45x45 cm; total 45x135 cm including the gaps. Mixed media, sold without a frame. Signed piece and sold with certificate of authenticity.
In 2006, within the halls of the Castello Estense in Ferrara, the Armonia series presented itself as a cycle of twelve works, conceived as a single rhythmic structure. The three panels exhibited in this room — now reissued as a triptych — represent three fundamental nodes of the series: three states of form that, though autonomous, dialogue with the entire corpus.
The series began as an investigation into the relationship between gesture, balance, and chromatic tension. Each work is a movement, a variation on the theme of harmony understood not as stillness, but as dynamic interaction between elements.
The series, exhibited in 2006 at the Castello Estense in Ferrara, fits perfectly with the climate of those years, when hybridization between traditional and digital techniques began to be recognized as an autonomous language rather than mere experimentation.
