Original work by Jinks Kunst titled Bob - French Traffic Sign, created in 2026 using pochoir and spray paint on an authentic French triangular traffic sign panel, 42 by 48 cm, 1.2 kg, hand signed, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
This work, titled “BOB,” is the third piece in the series created on an authentic French triangular traffic sign—known as a “Dos d’Âne” (speed bump). As with the previous artworks, the recovered material brings authenticity and a unique story to each sign.
The subversion of the pictogram is central here: the black hump on the donkey’s back serves as a base for a self-assured B.Boy named BOB. The character, rendered with multi-layer stencil precision, stands upright, hands in the pockets, in a relaxed and confident posture. He wears a textured purple hooded jacket, a bright red cap, and matching sneakers. His direct gaze and attitude reinforce the urban identity of the piece.
In the background, a 3D graffiti lettering bursts forth, echoing the artist’s pseudonym JINKS. This graffiti, drawn in bright yellow and orange, creates a strong contrast with the central figure and the white textured sign backdrop. It reinforces the hip-hop identity and the artist’s signature. Fine splatters of yellow paint are scattered across the sign, adding dynamism.
This work bears witness to Jinks Kunst’s mastery of stencil technique and his ability to transform everyday objects into vibrant artworks, while celebrating hip-hop culture and the unique character of each individual.
