The vases feature a graceful double-gourd form and a rich polychrome decoration with stylised flowers, foliage and exotic birds. The palette combines deep cobalt blue, iron red, green and ochre tones on a warm ivory ground.
The decoration extends around the entire surface, giving the pair a highly decorative appearance from every angle.
Both vases bear the characteristic Vieux Rhodes / Boch mark on the underside.
