Birdcage - Wood - Antique bird cage

This is a handcrafted, black-painted wooden birdcage in the shape of a Victorian townhouse. The decorative piece features detailed elements such as small balconies, a veranda, and a turret with a balcony (widow's walk). Such pieces are sometimes called 'American Gothic Folk Art Birdcages' and often date from the late 19th century.
