Description from the seller
Vintage art print faithfully reproducing one of Kandinsky's most dynamic masterpieces, Mit und Gegen (With and Against), painted in 1929 during his famous teaching period at the Bauhaus. The work is dominated by an intense, vibrant, blazing red background, exuding incredible visual energy. On this warm surface float and clash several constellations of geometric shapes, thin lines, semicircles, and structures reminiscent of ship profiles or fantastical architectures. The title itself evokes the tension and balance between opposing forces: elements that work together (Mit) and elements that contrast (Gegen). Kandinsky, an absolute pioneer of abstraction, uses color and geometry here not as mere decoration, but as a spiritual and musical language capable of striking the viewer's soul directly.
The print is produced on high-quality paper in the standard size 50x70 centimeters and presents itself in excellent, new, and never-framed condition. On the front of the composition is visible the artist's characteristic monogram with the original year of creation, faithfully reproduced. To guarantee maximum protection during transport, the artwork is carefully rolled and shipped inside a professional rigid high-strength cardboard tube, designed specifically to prevent any creasing or damage. The shipment is managed with fast, fully trackable, and insured delivery.
