Piano Construction
“Piano Construction” proposes a scene in which objects cease to be simple recognizable elements and become parts of a visual composition governed by rhythm, structure, and harmony. The piano, the lamp, the moon, and the wavy forms of the background are articulated as pieces of the same poetic architecture, where music and space seem to be built at the same time.
The work is organized through an intense palette of blues, purples, pinks, yellows, and oranges, generating a nocturnal yet vibrant atmosphere. The curves of the sky and clouds contrast with the geometric solidity of the table, the piano, and the objects, creating a balance between movement and stability. Everything appears arranged as if it were a score expanded into space.
From a contemporary Cubist language, the composition does not simply depict an interior with instruments and objects, but a musical structure transformed into an image. Each form occupies a precise place within the whole, as if responding to an internal logic similar to that of a melody or a sound construction.
The title reinforces precisely that idea: “Piano Construction” suggests a work conceived not only from form but also from rhythm. The painting thus becomes a kind of musical architecture, where the visible seems organized by a silent music.
The work poses a dialogue between geometry, sound, and atmosphere, turning everyday objects into a composition of great poetic and visual strength.
