Elegant Rosenthal porcelain table service, finely hand-painted, characterized by a refined decoration of classic taste and particularly sought-after.
At the center of each item is depicted a fruit composition, with apples, plums, cherries and other seasonal fruit, painted with great attention to detail, to color shading and to naturalistic rendering. The compositions are set within a central medallion on a white background, which stands out clearly against the surrounding decorative band.
Around the medallion a wide band in deep blue develops, an element that gives depth and strong color contrast to the whole. The edge is then embellished with a rich raised gold decoration, with small floral and ornamental motifs worked with particular care.
The shaped forms of the pieces, together with the richness of the gilding and the hand-painted fruit, confer the service an opulent and elegant character, typical of the high-quality productions of the Rosenthal manufactory.
