For sale: A gorgeous and complete set of four historical panorama lithographs of the city of Antwerp from the year 1914 (the so-called Hypsos map).
These detailed plates in bird's-eye view show the city, the Scheldt and the port on the eve of World War I. The four plates fit together perfectly and form one impressive, elongated panorama.
This concerns the sought-after XL reproduction that at the time was issued as an official supplement to the historical book series “Waar is de tijd: Antwerpen 20e eeuw”, in collaboration with the then National Maritime Museum (now MAS).
