This item is a refined porcelain sugar shaker (or bonbonnière) from the Hungarian Herend manufactory, famous worldwide for its hand-painted tableware. Rothschild Bird style with little birds, butterflies and small insects scattered on a white background. The body features the characteristic relief work that imitates the weave of a basket. The lid bears a rosebud with a leaf. Model number stamped on the bottom: 6090 FR 84B.
