Description from the seller

Majestic porcelain and bronze vase from the mid-20th century, originating in France in Louis XV style.

This exceptional piece stems from the monumental base that provides stability, volume, and a markedly aristocratic character. The main part is its porcelain body finished in deep emerald-green glaze, adorned with filigree and over-gilded geometric-floral details.
The central scene is an oval medallion with a galant pastoral scene (inspired by the works of Jean-Honoré Fragonard or François Boucher), where a lady and a gentleman are depicted in a bucolic setting.
It finishes with a smoothly curved bronze handle featuring acanthus motifs, and a pierced neck with a wide mouth.

Excellent vintage condition. It retains a bright golden patina with a pale natural wear over the years that gives it character. The porcelain shows no cracks or chips.

Dimensions: 44 cm high, 16 cm deep, and 14 cm wide.

Perfect for adding a touch of imperial elegance and a magnificent collectible piece.

Shipped with careful and secure packaging.
