Table service - Creamware - Creil and Montereau

An important antique faience set from Creil and Montereau, model/decoration “Ceylan – Labrador.” The pieces bear on the back the mark: “SERVICE CEYLAN – CREIL ET MONTEREAU – LABRADOR – DÉPOSÉ.” Some also feature a recessed mark, notably “L 14.” Very elegant blue-printed decoration on an ivory ground, composed of botanical ornaments and stylized motifs arranged around the perimeter of the pieces. The visible set includes several séries of plates in different sizes, as well as serving pieces and cups with their saucers. Antique condition with signs of use and glaze crazing/crackling, particularly visible on the reverse of some pieces. Possible marks, small stains and wear related to age.
