Early Flemish cabinet, Southern Netherlands around 1600.
Very refined carving and in very good condition.
Three doors on top and two below.
This layout is typical for this region.
We also see it echoed in Brabant.
Also fairly richly worked, which was more common in the Catholic Netherlands.
 - it looks monumental but is fairly low-184 cm tall.

See also the early feet: so-called 'block feet', these were common before the bulb feet.
Bulb feet did not come into fashion until the second half of the 17th century.
Nice patina. Restorations.

Vroege Vlaamse kast, Zuidenlijke Nederlanden rond 1600. 
Zeer verfijnd snijwerk en in zeer goede conditie. 
Drie deurtjes boven en twee onder. 
Deze indeling is typisch voor deze streek. 
We zien dat ook terug in Brabant. 
Ook vrij rijk bewerkt wat in de Katholieke Nederlanden meer gebruikelijk was. 
 - hij oogt monumentaal maar is vrij laag-184 cm hoog. 

Zie ook de vroege poten: zogenaamde 'blokpoten', deze waren gebruikelijk vóór de bolpoten. 
Bolpoten komen pas in de 2de helft van de 17de eeuw in zwang. 
Mooi patine. Restauraties.
