Cyril Keller - Sonnenwende

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland.

My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From around 1993 until the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. During this time, my enthusiasm for color, shapes and creative expression developed – the foundation of my painting today.

In 2015 I found my path to abstract art. This opened up a completely new creative world for me, one that continues to excite me to this day. Since then I have dedicated myself with great passion to abstract painting, continuously experimenting with new techniques, color compositions and image structures.

I am especially fascinated by the unique forms and textures that arise from the squeegee technique. Each painting is a new journey of discovery for me, where intuition, creativity and a willingness to experiment come together. As a self-taught artist I love continually evolving and finding new ways to bring emotion and dynamism to the canvas.

Today I consciously take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, spark their imagination and give them lasting joy.

For me, the most beautiful thing about abstract art is its openness. Every viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings and experiences to a painting, and lets it resonate in a completely individual way. It is this very connection between the artwork and the viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
