Cyril Keller - Dreisamkeit

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland.

My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From about 1993 to the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. During that time my enthusiasm for colors, shapes and creative expression developed – the foundation of my current painting.

In 2015 I found my path to abstract art. A completely new creative world opened up for me, one that continues to excite me to this day. Since then I have pursued abstract painting with great passion and continually experimented with new techniques, color combinations and image structures.

I am especially fascinated by the unique forms and structures created by the scraper technique. Each painting is a new journey of discovery for me, where intuition, creativity and a sense of experimentation come together. As a self-taught artist I love to continually develop and find new possibilities to convey emotions and dynamism on the canvas.

Today I deliberately take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, stimulate their imagination and give them lasting joy.

The most beautiful thing about abstract art is, for me, its openness. Every viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings and experiences into a painting and lets it affect them in a wholly individual way. It is precisely this connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
