Cyril Keller - Erupted Mountain

My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland.

My artistic journey began in the early 1990s when I discovered graffiti art for myself. From around 1993 until the end of the 1990s, graffiti was my great passion. During this time, my enthusiasm for colors, shapes, and creative expression developed—the foundation of my painting today.

In 2015 I found my path to abstract art. A completely new creative world opened up for me, which continues to excite me to this day. Since then I have dedicated myself to abstract painting with great passion and continuously experiment with new techniques, color compositions, and image structures.

I am especially fascinated by the unique forms and structures that arise from the squeegee technique. Each painting is a new voyage of discovery for me, where intuition, creativity, and a spirit of experimentation come together. As a self-taught artist, I love to continually develop and find new ways to bring emotions and dynamism to the canvas.

Today I consciously take more time for my art than ever before and look to the future with great enthusiasm. My goal is to create works that touch people, spark their imagination, and bring them lasting joy.

The best thing about abstract art, for me, is its openness. Every viewer discovers something of their own, brings their personal thoughts, feelings, and experiences into a painting, and lets it affect them in a uniquely individual way. It is exactly this connection between artwork and viewer that makes abstract painting so special to me.
